Will.i.am Admits He Ripped Off Arty and Mat Zo's Song Rebound

As if you don't know by now, Will.i.am's new song Let's Go has come under fire because it clearly steals from Arty and Mat Zo's Song Rebound.  There were an onslaught of hate mail and even his Youtube shows a lot more dislikes for Let's Go than likes... Comb through the comments section too.

Will.i.am. Rips off Arty and Mat Zo's Rebound.

Here's what Will.i.am had to say on KIIS FM:

"Arty is a dope producer so I wrote this song to 'Rebound' this last year." he said, "I got in touch with Arty and showed it to him, did a different version to it 'cause I asked him [to] make it newer 'cause I don't just wanna take your song and rap over it," he said. "But in a year's time, time's gone by [and] we preferred writing over and using the [original] rebound. Something happened and the clearance ... hopefully we resolved the issue "-The Wrap 

Well, at least he admitted copyright infringement... Though he's been known to rip off a lot of EDM artists (including Boys Noize and Adam Freeland).
