If you haven't heard about this... The Black Eyed Peas' song Party all the Time, ripped off an uncleared sample from Freeland's Mancry, well allegedly. Listen for yourself as to how close they are... Is it the same sample? The notes are awfully similar, even the synth that's being used. It's a shame if it is true. Although it wouldn't be surprising, as it probably would be cheaper to steal a sample and pay off the artist than to hire a big time producer to replicate something similar.
