All Points West Line Up Trounces Coachella?

"Coachella East" has just released their official line up and word is going around that the line up overshadows that of Coachella itself. All Points West, debuting last year at Liberty State Park as a two day music festival from Goldenvoice, with headliners Radiohead and Jack Johnson, returns now on July 31 as a three day music festival boasting another strong line up, with Beastie Boys, Tool, and Coldplay rocking out the music festival.
All Points West Line 2009 Up:
Friday, July 31: Beastie Boys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, The National, Fleet Foxes, MSTRKRFT, Q-Tip
Saturday, August 1: Tool, My Bloody Valentine, Gogol Bordello, Arctic Monkeys, Neko Case, The Ting Tings, Yelle, Crystal Castles
Sunday, August 2: Coldplay, Echo & The Bunnymen, MGMT, The Black Keys, Elbow, Silversun Pickups, Mogwai

Yes, it is pretty much the same artists that have played at Coachella before, but that is not surprising since All Points West is put on as the same people as Coachella. So where does Paul McCartney, The Killers and The Cure stand in all of this? In other words, is All Points West better than Coachella? I must admit, All Points West has good artists, and a strong line up, but Coachella still has the edge since it is bigger, and is currently the main draw. However, Goldenvoice is making a good effort to construct a fast growing music festival in the eastern United States. So we'll see in the years to come if All Points West will eclipse Coachella.
