Album Review: Bloc Party - Intimacy

Okay, so... I really like Bloc Party's last album A Weekend In the City, so you can imagine that I had pretty high hopes with their latest. After listening to it for the first time, I was a bit disappointed to say the least. I skipped over the first song because I couldn't listen to it, although it does have some nice beats. Now, after listening to the album over and over, I've grown to like the album more, however, still skipping over the first song. They've added a bit more electronic elements to this album, with stutter effects and repetition, as well as heavier electronic beats as opposed to live drums. So overall, I did enjoy this album and it grows the more I listen to it.
