What to do this New Year's Eve 2012 in Los Angeles?

Unfortunately, there aren't too many options this year as Insomniac and HARD events don't have anything planned in the Los Angeles area. With the popularity of dance music being so great, I would think they're would be more events. Anyways, here are the two events that you may consider for ringing in the new year.

Together As One
Artists: Duck Sauce, Dirty South, Diplo, Bloody Beetroots, Chromeo (DJ set), Felix Da Housecat, Funkagenda...
Where: Oak Canyon Park, Orange County, CA map it.
Price: Starting at $70; VIP starting at $150
Pros: Pretty good line up so far.
Cons: After the Monster Massive debacle, Go Ventures remains a questionable business. Though they do have a legit permit now with Oak Canyon Park, as the event is also listed on their website.

Why was Monster Massive Canceled?

Sunday: Steve Angello, AN21 & Max Vangeli, and Thomas Gold
Where: Anaheim Convention Center Orange County, CA map it
When: December 31 and January 1 (2 days folks)
Price: Starting at $80
Pros: Next to Disneyland.
Cons: I just heard about event this now...

So I guess Giant canned their Big Time event and decided to team up with Insomniac to bring this extravaganza.
