Megamind and Due Date Relieve Box Office

All three newcomers, Megamind, Due Date, and For Colored Girls Only made a nice chunk of change this weekend (coming in at one, two, and three) helping the rather lull Fall box office.

Saw 3D saw a huge 60% drop to 5th place from last weekend's top spot. And I am rather surprised Red is holding on pretty strong, only dropping less than 20% this weekend to capture 4th place.

1. Megamind: $47.6 million ($47.6 million total) Budget: $130 million
2. Due Date: $33.5 million ($33.5 million total) Budget: $65 million
3. For Colored Girls Only: $20.1 million ($20.1 million total) Budget: $21 million
4. Red: $8.9 million ($71.9 million total) Budget: $58 million
5. Saw 3D: $8.2 million ($38.8 million total) Budget: $20 million

Cons: Early reviews have been mediocre at best.

For Colored Girls Only
Flop Factor: 40%
Pros: Tyler Perry seems to be gold at the box office.
Cons: Early reviews have been less than good.

Due Date: $30 million
For Colored Girls Only: $22 million
Saw 3D: $8 million
