Saw 3D Slices up Halloween Weekend

The final chapter in the Saw series, Saw 3D, managed to scare up enough tickets for a first place finish this Halloween weekend at the box office. Although it managed to make less than Saw 2, 3, 4 or 5, Saw 3D did easily surpassed Saw 6's $14 million... partially due to the fact that this is the Final Saw and it's in "mind blowing" 3D.

Weekend Estimates
  1. Saw 3D: $22.5 million ($24.2 million total) Budget: $20 million
  2. Paranormal Activity: $16.5 ($65.7 million total) Budget: $3 million
  3. Red: $10.8 million ($58.9 million total) Budget: $58 million
  4. Jackass 3D: $8.4 million ($101.6 million total) Budget: $20 million
  5. Hereafter: $6.3 million ($22.2 million total) Budget: $50 million

One movie slices it's way into theaters this Halloween weekend.

Saw 3D
Flop Factor: 30%
Pros: It's the Final Chapter (although last year's The Final Destination didn't prove to be the final one at all).
Cons: Seven of these already and I've yet to see anyone of them.

My Predictions:
Saw 3D: $30 million
Paranormal Activity 2: $21 million
Jackass 3D: $11 million
Red: $8 million
Hereafter: $7 million
