Netflix Review: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Synopsis: Transforming robots, explosions.
Pros: Visual FX... explosions... sound... Megan Fox
Cons: Loss of brain cells.
Overview: There was a reason I decided not to see this in theaters, and it made itself apparent within 10 minutes of watching this movie. Don't get me wrong, Michael Bay manages to stage some of the coolest looking explosions and FX sequences in history, but there is only so much of relentless action one can take. Two and a half hours is way to long, especially for a movie with a video game plot.

This reminds me of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, where in the second one, they upped the action, the VFX, and the time length, and thinned out the plot. And since they are making a third Transformers, I wonder if they are going to make it 3hrs long with a ridiculously confusing plot while being bigger and louder than any movie seen before (Like that of the 3rd Pirates). Oh man, can't wait for the trailer.
