MGMT is one of those bands that are slowly picking up momentum. Their synth-like indie sounds make this a rather pleasant album to listen to. I saw them at Coachella and thought they were great. I couldn't tell who they were when they decided to jump down into the crowd and run around the tent; they blended in perfectly with every kid there.Anyways, back to the album. There are parts taken from the 60's psychedelic style and fused with some electro pop. It's a unique sound. However, there are three great songs that overshadow the rest of the album. It is worth a listen if you already haven't heard of them by now. You can check out their 'Electric Feel' video on Youtube by clicking here.
