As expected, Madonna's chameleon changing sounds tries to evolve a step further with the help of Timbaland and Pharrell at the helm. The club anthem "4 minutes" is a great foray into that new sound. However, much of the rest of the album doesn't leave me quite as satisfied. Timbaland's songs seem to match Madonna vocals much better than Pharrell's. You may disagree, but that's what I think and hear. It isn't a bad album to say the least, but it doesn't live up to her previous ones.
