The J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg trailer for their inconspicuous film Super 8 was coincidentally leaked online this morning... The morning it was to debut in theaters with Iron Man 2. The leaked trailer was recorded in a theater with a hand held camera. Many are speculating that this was intended. Especially since, it is still online... Not taken off by the MPAA police... So hrm... This could well be another viral marketing plow much like Cloverfield.
I'm sure you've seen it by now. But here it is, in case you haven't seen it.
Update: Well, they have been cracking down online, and the first leak has been taken off... So we'll see how long this one lasts.
