Netflix Review: Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity
Synopsis: A young couple experiences paranormal activity in their home and video tape it.
Pros: Funny, some cool shots.
Cons: It's not supposed to be funny.
Overview: I was watching this movie trying to understand the phenomenon behind it. Which is hard to do because it follows two annoying characters in a movie that looks like it was made for under $15 thousand. I don't know, maybe it's one of those films you have to see in a dark theater and while watching other people's reactions to the movie.

I'll admit, there were some cool shots and moments. The Spielberg ending rewrite, is probably the best part of the film. And I do commend it for what it tried to do and the uniqueness it entangled.

However, as I liked the phenomenon that was the Blair Witch at the time, I have the feeling when those people who were spooked by Paranormal Activity, see it again, they will realize its silliness.

And really, they're making a sequel to this film? Come on... because Blair Witch 2 did so well.
