Movie Review: X-Files : I Want to Believe

It's been 10 years since the first X-Files movie. Mainly because there were lots of legal issues between 20th Century Fox and producer Chris Carter in getting the second one green lit. Well, it is finally here. And what do I think?
First off, if you were expecting the alien conspiracy continuation, you are going to be disappointed. If you want aliens, you should watch that, 4th in the franchise movie (whom shall remain nameless) that came out in May, and was least likely to have aliens in it, but did. Back to The X-Files...It is actually quite good. But the problem lies in the fact that in about a year, I don't think anyone will remember it. As there is nothing really worth noting that I can remember. It basically feels like a good, long episode of The X-Files TV show. The plot and the action is immensely scaled down to fit the constraints of this story. And although, it came out in the summer, it would, more than likely, fit better in the fall line up. So if you are expecting big action and big thrills, you will be disappointed. But I do recommend it.
