Movie Review: The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

No, this is not about King Kong, or related to King Kong. It's actually about his brother: Donkey Kong. Yes, The King of Kong is a movie about the original video game, Donkey Kong, and it's top two players. I had reasonably high expectations for this film, since the reviews were great. However, after watching it, I thought is was only OK. I liked it, but I wasn't nearly blown away as I was expecting. That's what happens when you go with the tide of the critics. It starts off kind of slow, but when the real competition happens, it envelopes into a decent drama and brings tension between the two players. A Fistful of Quarters is a decent documentary, and it works well with it's short time length.
