Movie Review: Enchanted

Enchanted is a story about a ho-hum Disney cartoon that comes to life(as in the real world). No this is not Roger Rabbit, where the toons already exist in the real world, this is a movie where the cartoons actually become human characters, through the help of a magical well. I don't think I can explain it further than that. I'm sure you've heard or seen this movie by now, so I am gonna move on.
Amy Adams and the rest of the cast do a great job of acting like they are in a fantasy Disney cartoon, while they are roaming around the streets of New York City. That's where the charm of the movie lies. The inability of the characters to understand our world, and the inability of the real world characters to understand that they are not crazies.
Enchanted is a cute, fun movie that has your basic Disney thematics. However, that's as far as it goes. I really liked the idea of the movie. The intertwining the two worlds is a fresh idea, but it makes me wish they actually went further with it. I also was hoping for a little more to the plot, but then again they set out to make a Disney fest. Still, it's not bad though.
