Album Review: BT - A Song Across Wires |
Style: Progressive House, BT-style
Pros: BT returning back to form.
Cons: Not much.
Overview: Over the past few years while Dance music has been exploding, BT has been experimenting with a different sounds and beats much too far off the radar for most people. However, his new album A Song Across Wires, has him returning back to the Dance songs we've come to expect from BT... and it's actually quite good. If you're already a BT fan, than this album wont disappoint.

The Highest Paid DJs of 2013 |
Dance music has gotten so big that Forbes even created a list of the highest paid DJs of the year (two years in a row)...
And topping that list?
None other than Calvin Harris who made an astonishing $46 million in the past year.
Though, I am highly suspect of this amount since, in a 2012 interview (about making $11.5 million on Forbes' list last year), deadmau5 said,
"It's bullshit. I had to call my manager and say, "Yo! Where’s the other 10?" Sure, we've seen $20 million in the past two years, but that's gone back into the studio, into tours—they cost up to $10 million alone. It's money in, money out for all of us, but the list makes us look like a bunch of overpaid dicks."The Forbes 2013 List:
1) Calvin Harris - $46 million
2) Tiesto - $32 million
3) David Guetta - $30 million
4) Swedish House Mafia - $25 million
5) deadmau5 - $21 million
6) Avicii - $20 million
7) Afrojack - $18 million
8) Armin van Buuren - $17 million
9) Skrillex - $16 million
Kaskade - $16 million
11) Steve Aoki - $14 million
12) DJ Pauly D - $13 million
Diplo - $13 million

Album Review: Rudimental - Home |
Rudimental - Home
Style: Drum and Bass, House, Soul
Pros: Fun
Cons: I was unaware it came out a few months ago.
Overview: Rudimental's debut album Home is a really nice listen. You might be familiar with the title track Feel The Love, which was played everywhere in the past year, and you should... because it captures the essence of the album. Granted, not all the songs are epic and grand as that song, but altogether, Home, still makes for a good listen.
