Overview: Have you been waiting a while for the next album from The Knife? Well, I, like you have been in long anticipation. Shaking the Habitual is a bit removed from their earlier work, which was a bit weird in their own right. While I like some songs, and I give The Knife credit for just doing their own thing, there really isn't anything here makes you go "yes, this is amazing." In the wrong context, this album could turn a lot of people off. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this album, I think the dark melodies are nice and soothing... and I do like that they don't care what others think and will push boundaries with their music. However, I feel myself having to song skip.
